Find cookbooks at the library. Borrow a pan or kitchen gadget from the Library of Things!
Borrow something for making music from the Library of Things! Or, ask to use the Music Cabinet in the Teen Scene when you visit the library.

Explore a book on science or space. These titles can generally be found in the Dewey classifications 500's and 600's in the Children's Nonfiction section.
Many great nonfiction titles for kids can also be found in CloudLibrary.
Try a "how-to" book to learn a new skill. Examples include: How to play an instrument, How to Draw, How to build something, How to sew, crochet, weave or knit. Many of these books may be found in J 700's in the Children's Nonfiction.
