So good! I stayed up an hour past when I intended to go to bed to finish it :'D

In an author’s note, Urrea states: “while the book is not 100% true, it is perhaps 95% true.” The author writes what he knows and this book is a poignant, profound and compelling story of family. Although the book is about a large Mexican-American family, its themes are universal. I particularly enjoyed the vivid description of characters, settings and scenes. The evocative language readily evoked vibrant imagery i.e ‘All of Big Angel’s pill bottles were on the bedside table, within reach, looking like a model of a futuristic city.’

I would recommend this book. I really enjoyed the story.

Loving heir of fire so far. I started the throne of glass series late last month. I listen through BARD/ Audible and am enjoying the series. just finding out solena is aeilin is quite fascinating.

I thought this was a really good book, it introduced you to the characters and had some good action in it too!

Great book if your into horror! ??

I loved this book so much. It was a lot better than the first one in the series. There were times that the relationship between Jacks and Evangaline reminded me of "Vampire" by Olivia Rodrigo. A few scenes towards the end made me want to throw the book across the room. Luckily, I had enough willpower not to damage my book.

Helpful: he gives not only his academic and research history, but the history of what Dirty Electricity is, how to make it safer, and the head's up that some orgs won't recognize it as the threat it is. I was left with a feeling of hope by the end!

An excellent blend of well-researched information about the medical community’s experience grappling with the AIDS crisis, tribute to the incredible advocacy and activism of ACT-UP, and the physical and emotional of devastation AIDS on a generation.

I love this book and have read it many times.
