I really enjoyed all the pictures with each different kind of bear in this book. Even panda bears were in this book. I like real facts about animals.

Following the life of Gifty’s purposeful work in her graduate years, stemming from her childhood traumas, this book started out a bit slower for me but I’m so glad I kept going because it is so powerful. It touches on poverty, mental health, addiction, religion, science, racism, and so much more. It made me angry, laugh, and cry. I definitely plan to read it again.
